Oria is specialized in organelle production to revolutionize therapeutic research. After a successful spin-off from ENS-PSL/CNRS, first contracts and seed funding, we're expanding our team and growing our organelles portfolio.

We are looking for an excellent and dynamic Master 2 student (or equivalent) with expertise in cell biology or biophysics to join our R&D team. Your main objective will be to optimize our new processes around purification andproduction of intracellular organelles (especially mitochondria).

As part ofour multidisciplinary team, you will thrive in a dynamic, science-focused, and innovative environment. Your will have an important role in supporting OriaBioscience's growth to an industrial-scale process for producing high-quality organelle preparations tailored for the drug discovery market, while actively contributing to the team’s daily operations and challenges.

Your profile:

·       You are proactive, preferably a biology, biophysics orbiotechnology Master 2 student (or equivalent) with previous experience in abiology laboratory. Other backgrounds with this expertise are welcome.

·       You have solid knowledge in cell culture, enzymatic assays andmicroscopy. Experience working with mitochondria would be a strong asset.

·       You are autonomous and excel at multitasking. You have relevantlaboratory experience, are able to organize experiments, and are rigorous. Youhave a strong ability to work collaboratively within a team.

·       You have good communication skills in English (spoken andwritten, either English or French).

What you will do:

·       You will take part in an innovative and promising Oria'sresearch project focused on mitochondria.

·       You will perform experimental work involving cell culture,enzymatic assays and microscopy.

·       You will be responsible for testing and optimizing experimentalprotocols to ensure accuracy, reproducibility and robustness.

·       You will carefully document, analyze and report your results,ensuring traceability and efficient follow-up within the team.

·       You will present your findings and progress during teammeetings, contributing to collective discussions and project development.
